Well lately I've been trying to fill up my sketchbook with whatever now (stuffs you usually see on my FA or DA pages) and I could get much out yet.
So I thought I should do a digital sketch, but before I started, I was watching G4 and they were talking about a new game coming out called "Bayonetta".
Looked it up on the internet and saw a trailer on YouTube..
OMG!! I got a flash of inspiration just from watching that and going on the website for the game. So I'm gave myself a little goal. Let's just say, it involves the damn story that I haven't been able to write and an idea I've been having for a long time.
Long story shortened...this was the result of listening to one of the songs on the Bayonetta web page.

This is also a little experiment with my style. I have a cartoony style in my arsenal, but I thought I could play around and revamp my older anime style when I was starting out. Most of that was inspired by Strype's work.
This is little mix of that and the style used for the art for "Sengoku Basara" (a video game) which very "painty" and sketchy. This is was all done on one layer and no skeleton.
As you can tell, it's my otaku/computer geeky/electric lion PJ with his scythe, Blitz ready to unleash hurt.
Sorry that it's not that action pack but I hope you like and...my apologies for that huge ramble XD
